International Maritime Research Confluence a unique event being held in India to advance the research activities in the Maritime Sector. The Confluence will bring the industry and the decision makers from the Maritime Industry together with the establishments and individuals involved in relevant research.
Researchers will be able to present and introduce the industry to ongoing studies, fresh patents, and novel advancements which will aid in envisioning new projects, problem solving and decision making for the industry.
With the Organizing Group on the threshold of entering the third decade, the trustees and directors of the group entities resolved in March 2019 to dedicate the decade 2020-2030 in pursuit of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations in 2015.
Relying on the expertise of the group in research activities and publication, our research enterprise embarks on organizing biennial International Maritime Research Confluences (IMRC) from 2020 onwards. International Maritime Research Confluence aims to advance the research activities and support creation of the much-needed Eco-System which will encourage and facilitate authentic and meaningful research in the maritime and allied sectors. The event aims to further the research eco-system in the maritime industry.
The first confluence is to be held in Mumbai on the 13th and 14th February 2020. The outcomes of the confluence shall be disseminated in the industry, further research encouraged and promoted, and effective dialogue facilitated within the industry in the direction of making our world a better place to live.
